These are all non-medical, simple cosmetic procedures performed with lasers or light-based devices such as IPL or LED banks. These programs are the way to get started in this field and see how the various laser modalities are used in the various applications and important considerations to avoid patient injuries. You’ll learn about the types of devices and be better prepared to knowledgeably discuss equipment with manufacturers before you commit to expensive purchases. You will also learn the types of devices and the basic way they’re used, important energy and dosimetry concepts, and both treatment safety and general laser safety.

Although this program is a great way to start for those individuals working outside of medical practice, for those non-physicians working WITHIN medical practices it’s absolutely the way to go. You’ll get all of your academic training here and then have the benefit of medical staff or more senior technicians in your office to complete the hands-on training. *Note— various states have differing requirements for licensure of non-physicians to perform these procedures, and some have none at all. It is up to the student to determine those requirements and the suitability of this course prior to purchase.

3-Day Seminar Complete Aesthetic Laser and Light-Based Procedures – Covers All Modules
Included in the 3-day seminar is a half-day of hands-on training with the common types of lasers used in these cosmetic procedures. Through training and practicing on volunteers, each other, and inanimate objects, it is enough to help you get comfortable with the basic parameters around cosmetic procedures.
It is recommended to attend this seminar prior to purchasing equipment. This seminar also includes a 45-minute session on the business aspects of aesthetics. We offer aesthetic laser training in multiple locations in the United States as well as other countries around the world. Some have open enrollment to anyone regardless of credentials. Contact us and we will help get you additional information on the one that best fits your specific needs.
The Course includes online access to the narrated and illustrated lectures (about, 20+ hrs) a 184+ page PDF course manual (20+ hrs) a PDF copy of all the slides, and a Certificate of Laser Training. Online quizzes are at the end of most modules which you must pass with a 70% or greater score. If for some reason you don’t pass a module we’ll reset you for that at no charge. You’ll listen to the online lectures but must also study each chapter of the book. It includes forms and checklists that are valuable in establishing this type of practice. Approved for 41.2 Nursing CEU’s and Qualifies for Category II CME.
